Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy for an update on action being taken to find tenants for Coleraine’s Atlantic Link Enterprise Campus.

Answer:
Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council (CC&GBC) is responsible for the ongoing promotion and marketing of the designated area for the Pilot Enterprise Zone in Coleraine, called the Atlantic Link Enterprise Campus (ALEC). My Department’s role is to ensure that the ALEC is developed by CC&GBC in a way which will attract capital intensive companies.
As of the end of May 2022 the following activity has been undertaken by CC&GBC to market the site:
Promotion of the ALEC via a Development Brief to prospective businesses, investors, developers etc. A copy is available on the dedicated ALEC website: http://atlanticlinkcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/atlantic-link-developement-brief.pdf
Annual full-page advertisements in all regional and local newspapers (16 newspapers); and front cover page articles in both Agenda NI and Eolas.
Regular monthly wide-spread mailshot of both new hard and soft copies of the ALEC Brochure and Development Brief to prospective investors regionally, nationally and internationally.
Exhibition stands at large scale digital focused conferences in Belfast and Dublin.
ALEC information events/roadshows in Belfast, Dublin and London.
Investigation of proposed Growth Deal opportunities.
A new property agent has been appointed. They are currently preparing a strategy going forward.
Invest NI has assisted with promotional events to potential investors at the British Embassy in Dublin and the Guildhall in London.
Invest NI’s International Investment Division continue to facilitate introductions to relevant events, conferences, and contacts in GB, RoI, and the US.
Invest NI also promote the Campus on the property section of its website.
