To ask the Minister for Communities whether she will review the transition from Disability Living Allowance to Personal Independence Payments for young people with Down Syndrome, to ensure it doesn’t cause any undue stress.

Answer:

My Department aims to provide a quality service for all people transitioning from Disability Living Allowance to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) that causes the least amount of stress, irrespective of their age, disability or health condition.
