To ask the Minister of Health what changes have been made to pest control in health facilities over the last year.

Answer:

HSCTs have confirmed that there has been no change to the provision of pest control in health care facilities over the last year.

A regional contract for the Monitoring and Management of Environmental Services, including pest control provision across health and social care settings, has been in place since 2017. This contract is managed by BSO, Procurement and Logistics Service and is due for renewal later this year.
