To ask the Minister of Health to outline the timescale for the publication of revised targets for progressing the reshaping of stroke care.

Answer:

My Department received in excess of 19,000 responses to the ‘Reshaping Stroke Care Consultation’. In the time since the consultation closed, I have been giving careful consideration to the consultation analysis, the evidence base for reform and emerging evidence on stroke treatments.

Having done so, I can advise that it is my intention to set out the way forward for the reform of stroke care in the coming weeks and that the Reshaping Stroke Care consultation analysis will be published alongside this.
