Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (i) whether he is aware of sectarian graffiti at the fishery at Stoneyford Reservoir; and (ii) whether his Department intend to remove this graffiti.

Answer:

I was not aware of sectarian graffiti at Stoneyford Reservoir.

While Stoneyford Reservoir is part of My Department’s Public Angling Estate, the site is owned by Northern Ireland Water. DAERA Inland Fisheries leases the fishing rights from the owner of the site, NI Water. Any reports of graffiti or requests to remove it should be directed to NI Water. My officials will pass on the report of graffiti to NI Water.
