To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, pursuant to AQW 796/22-27, to provide a timeframe in which he intends to launch the public consultation on the first Climate Action Plan.

Answer:

Following initial scoping work that has been undertaken within DAERA and with other NICS Departments, it is currently anticipated that the public consultation on a draft Climate Action Plan could be launched in spring 2023.
