Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to outline his plans for legislation to promote financial assistance to farmers based on sustainable land management.

Answer:

My officials have already started work on scoping the necessary powers needed to enact all 54 decisions on future agricultural support I announced in March this year. I envisage a number of Secondary Legislation Regulations will be required to go forward with individual measures aimed at promoting and incentivising sustainable land management on farms.
