Question:
To ask the Minister of Education why children with a statement of special educational needs and special dietary requirements are not included on the eligibility criteria for non-means-tested Free School Meals on the Education Authority website, when they are entitled to them.

Registration and application for SEN children with special dietary needs is available on the EA website at https://www.eani.org.uk/financial-help/free-school-meals-uniform-grants/free-school-meals-uniform-grant-eligibility

In addition on 30 May 2022, the EA issued a letter to all school Principals setting out the entitlement under special diets.
