To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, in relation to the Park Road, Mallusk, to detail (i) when the last road safety assessment was conducted, given the high numbers of heavy goods vehicles using this rural road; and (ii) the outcome of any such road safety assessment.

Answer:

My Department is currently in the process of reviewing the existing speed limit on Park Road, Mallusk in conjunction with the PSNI Roads Policing Unit. The review will involve analysis of recent Road Traffic Collision data, average speeds and other relevant environmental factors. My officials will advise you directly of the outcome of the review in due course.
