To ask the Minister for Communities to detail (i) the process for anyone wishing to purchase their Housing Executive property before the House Sales Scheme ends in August; (ii) how the valuation of the property is determined; (iii) who conducts the valuation; and (iv) whether an independent valuation obtained by the buyer will be taken into consideration.

Answer:

The Housing Executive’s House Sales Scheme is not ending and therefore there is no change to the existing process for a Housing Executive tenant to purchase their home.
