Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 1159/22-27, (i) which recommendations from the report will he be addressing, and (ii) for a timescale for the competition of the York Street Interchange project.

Answer:

(i) The Placemaking and Active Travel Review (PATR) included the assessment of a number of different options to enhance placemaking and active travel provision. The report recommends that 3 options be taken forward for further consideration. This work is ongoing.

(ii) A timescale for the future procurement and construction of the project cannot be confirmed at this time as it is dependent upon a number of factors, including the completion of any follow up work resulting from the PATR and the availability of funding.
