Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether he will appoint organic advisors in his Department to advise farmers on transitioning to organic farming.

Answer:

Currently organic farmers across Northern Ireland receive support through existing Knowledge Transfer and Innovation programmes delivered by my Department.

My officials will continue to monitor the uptake and adoption of organic farming and respond accordingly.
