Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 630/22-27, (i) to detail any schools in East Londonderry that she has assessed as being in need of capital funding; and (ii) whether she has plans to assess again the schools eligible for the Major Capital Works Programme and release more funding for it.

Answer:

There are currently two Major Capital Works Projects in the East Londonderry constituency. Loreto College, Coleraine, was announced in my recent Major Capital Works Call and Our Lady of Fatima Primary School, Tamnaherin, was announced in the 2013 Call.

The list associated with this call is now closed and there will be no further announcements made from this call. The need for Calls to each of the Department’s Capital Programmes, that is the Minor Works Programme, the School Enhancement Programme and the Major Capital Programme will be kept under review.
