To ask the Minister of Health what assistance is in place for former clients of Logan Healthcare to obtain copies of their treatment records from the clinic, including records of IV drips and prescription medication administered.

Answer:

Under Article 15 of UK GDPR legislation individuals have the right to access and receive a copy of their personal data held by private companies. This includes medical records held by private healthcare providers.

Such a requests is commonly referred to as a Subject Access Request (SAR). Compliance with such requests is regulated by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
