Question:
To ask the Minister of Education what funding has been allocated for capital works at St Bernard’s Primary School, South Belfast, since the start of the 2003/4 financial year.

Answer:
In adherence to records management data retention policies, my Department is only required to retain financial records for a period of six years following the end of a full financial year. Therefore the information provided below is for the financial years 2015-16 to 2021-22.
Please also note that my Department does not allocate capital funding to individual school budgets, rather it grant-aids capital works it has approved at non-controlled schools.
The total amount of accrual expenditure from the 1 April 2015 to the 31 March 2022 relating to capital works at St Bernard’s Primary School is £138,885.91. This includes expenditure incurred by the Education Authority in relation to capital furniture and equipment.
