Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how many Blue Badges are currently issued in Northern Ireland, broken down by council area.

Answer:

My Department has issued 121,273 Blue Badges in the North, although as the system does not record the Council area of the applicant, the information cannot be provided by Council area.

The Blue Badge Unit can provide details of the number of badges issued by postcode. If that would be useful you can request it by emailing: bluebadges@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk.
