Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to provide an update on the delivery of the part-time 20mph speed limit programme for 2021-22.

Answer:

Phase 1 of the part time 20mph zones project comprised of 352 signs at 103 schools. All 352 signs have been installed and commissioned.

Phase 2 of the project comprises of 377 signs covering a further 112 schools. To date, 119 of the 377 signs have been installed and commissioned. It is planned that 270 signs will be commissioned by the end of August, with the remaining signs completed in the early autumn.
