To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 29742/17-22, to provide an update on the installation and refurbishment of bus shelters in South Antrim.

Answer:

I am pleased to advise that Translink submitted an Economic Appraisal to my Department in June 2022 for the installation of a number of new bus shelters and refurbishment of existing bus shelters across the North including 12 within the South Antrim area. This Economic Appraisal is being subjected to the necessary approvals process to ensure it represents value for money for the public purse.
