Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities what work has been undertaken by her Department since 8 March 2021 to ban conversion therapy.

Answer:

Working closely with representatives of those most impacted is ongoing.

The issue was discussed with the LGBTQI+ Co-design Group as part of the work on development of the Strategy.

Policy work is continuing to inform the drafting of legislation. It is essential that legislation is robust and fit for purpose.
