Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the status of weed spraying in the North Down constituency including whether works are proceeding as originally scheduled.

Answer:

The weed spraying programme in Ards and North Down is well advanced with the initial treatment programmed to be completed by mid-August, subject to suitable weather conditions.

While any schedule for weed spraying is always weather dependant, the works in Ards and North Down have progressed in line with expectations.
