Question:
To ask the Minister of Education (i) when the current Independent Counselling Service for School contract expires; and (ii) when her Department will review and redesign the subsequent model for post-primary counselling.

Answer:

The current Independent Counselling Service for Schools (ICSS) contract expires on 31st August 2024. The Education Authority will commence a review of the current contract during the academic year 2022/2023 and based on this review and the needs of schools and young people, redesign the contract accordingly.
