To ask the Minister for Communities for her assessment of what work is required in order to revisit the potential transfer of regeneration powers to Councils.

Answer:

Significant work would be required to revisit the potential transfer of regeneration powers to Councils as much has changed, both at a Central and Local Government level, since 2015

It is clear that a functioning Executive will also be required to agree the scope of any new legislation.
