Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy what investment has been made to the Centre for Advanced Sustainable Energy to ensure NI has trade representation at the Ocean Energy Europe event.

Answer:

In 2019 the Centre for Advanced Sustainable Energy (CASE) received a further offer of support totalling up to £3.6 million through the Invest NI Competence Centre Programme, to cover the period up to 2024. In March 2022 CASE was selected to manage a £4.5 million Green Innovation Challenge Fund pilot on behalf of the Department for the Economy. Budget is available through these funds to attend relevant events as deemed appropriate by CASE.
