Question:
To ask the Minister of Health when the workforce survey for Community Stroke Services will be completed.

Answer:

I recognise the vital role of the stroke workforce in delivering high quality stroke services. That is why a Stroke Workforce Review was identified as a key priority in the recently published Reshaping Stroke Care Action Plan. The Workforce Review will encompass both the hospital-based and community-based stroke workforce.

My Officials are currently undertaking a stakeholder mapping exercise both to inform membership of a Stroke Workforce Review Group and an approach to wider engagement as the work progresses. Once complete, it is intended that work will begin at pace to deliver a Stroke Workforce Review report by Summer 2023 as set out in the Action Plan
