Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities what discussions she has had with the Minister for Infrastructure concerning the implementation of a permit parking scheme, temporary or otherwise, for residents near large sporting venues that experience road closures on match days.

Answer:

There has been no discussion between my Department and the Department for Infrastructure regarding the implementation of a permit-parking scheme.

Health and Safety arrangements, including road closures and resident parking permits, are the responsibility of the venue operator in conjunction with the respective local authority and statutory bodies.
