Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the arrangements being implemented to ensure the continuation of primary school counselling services while the independent evaluation of the Happy Healthy Minds Project is ongoing.

Answer:

The independent evaluation of the Healthy Happy Minds Therapeutic and Counselling Services pilot which has been commissioned by my Department is currently ongoing. To ensure the continuation of services pending the evaluation report, the pilot has been further extended until the end of December 2022. The evaluation will help to inform future provision subject to securing the necessary resources.
