Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs what steps his Department is taking to ensure that Northern Ireland makes a fair contribution to the climate finance commitments made at COP26.

Answer:

The international climate finance commitments made at COP26 are being taken forward by the UK Government, as the Signatory Party to the COP, through the pre-existing UK International Climate Finance (ICF) support mechanism. As such my Department while supplying the objective will take its lead from His Majesty’s Government.
