Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities (i) to detail the current budget allocated for homelessness prevention; and (ii) what proportion of the overall homelessness budget does this represent.

Answer:

Due to the continued absence of a functioning Executive and agreed Executive budget the Department is working with a Contingency Planning Envelope.

The current forecast spend for homelessness prevention is £5.5m, approximately 20% of the forecast homelessness services expenditure for 2022/23.
