Question:
To ask the Minister of Health (i) whether all Multi-Disciplinary Teams across Northern Ireland include a social worker; and (ii) to outline reasons why some Multi-Disciplinary Teams do not have a social worker.

Answer:

To date, 68 practices have a Social worker (Band 7). This equates to 53.1% of practices within the current MDT footprint.

Further roll-out of the MDT model is subject to available funding to support the delivery of the service.
