Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans there are to refresh and emphasise the cycle lane markings along the A24 Ormeau Road and Saintfield Road.

Answer:

My officials recently inspected the cycle lane markings along the A24 Ormeau Road and Saintfield Road. They found the lane markings to be in reasonable condition, however it is acknowledged that the advanced stop lines and associated green boxes need to be refreshed. A works order to provide new green surfacing and bicycle symbols will issue to the contractor as soon as the necessary resources are available.
