To ask the Minister for Communities (i) to provide an update on the review of homelessness legislation; and (ii) what provisions are being considered around creating statutory duties in relation to homelessness prevention.


Answer:
The Homelessness Duties are set out in the Housing Order. My officials recently carried out a desk top review of homelessness legislation.
Options to improve homelessness legislation are under consideration.
