Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans there are to improve cycling infrastructure on the route between the Ormeau Road and Ravenhill Road junction and Forestside Shopping Centre.

Answer:

My Department released details of the Belfast Cycling Network Delivery Plan (BCNDP) 202231 in March 2022 following on from ‘Making Belfast an Active City – Belfast Cycling Network 2021’ which was published in June 2021.

I can confirm that cycling infrastructure improvements on the route between the Ormeau Road and Ravenhill Road junction and Forestside Shopping Centre are identified within the long term plan of the BCNDP which can be viewed via the following link Belfast Cycling Network Delivery Plan 2022 – 31 (infrastructure-ni.gov.uk) .
