To ask the Minister for Communities (i) how many people with disabilities have been through JobStart scheme since the scheme began; and (ii) of that number, how many have secured a permanent job.

Answer:

At 30 September 2022, 1,697 young people had started a JobStart opportunity of which 527 (31%) have a disability. I am delighted to advise you that, of the 206 young people with a disability who have completed their JobStart opportunity, 159 (77%) have sustained employment and secured a permanent job.
