Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, in relation to the additional action identified in the June 2022 Fair Start Report, what proposals are being considered for children with additional needs outside the Belfast area.

Answer:

The additional action reported in the June 2022 “A Fair Start” Progress Report relates to a Belfast-wide pilot supporting children with additional needs using a two-year pre-school model. It is being tested across the whole of the city and part of its evaluation will consider future wider feasibility, subject to the availability of budget.
