Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities (i) for an update on the review of the Community Development element of the Community Support Programme; (ii) to outline the terms and conditions of the review; and (iii) to detail her plans and timeframe to progress this area of community and voluntary support.

Answer:

The review of the community development element of the Community Support Programme paused when Council and departmental officials were working with voluntary and community sector partners to deliver the community response to the pandemic.

Officials are now actively reviewing our evidence base, working with Councils to increase our understanding of Sectoral needs and consider new ways of working together, to inform the future delivery of support to the Sector through improved relationships and partnerships.
