Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities whether she will produce a women’s employment strategy.

Answer:

The Department for Communities is leading on the development of the Executive's new Gender Equality Strategy. Employment issues affecting women have been raised by stakeholders as part of the co-design process. Subject to Executive approval, it is anticipated that the Strategy will include actions targeted at removing barriers faced by women in accessing the labour market.
