Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs when his Department will publish the findings of the Review of Bathing Waters in Northern Ireland.

Answer:

My Department is undertaking a Review of Bathing Waters during 2022 and 2023. There has been a significant public response to the Review, and officials have been assessing the viability of nominated sites over the summer, to be followed by a programme of water quality testing of viable sites.

I expect to be in a position to publish the outcome of the review in summer of next year.
