To ask the Minister for Communities whether, in the last 18 months, her Department has received data from the Home Office or Mears PLC relating to the number of children currently living in contingency accommodation.

Answer:

The Management of accommodation for asylum seekers by Mears is an excepted matter which is the responsibility of the Home Office. In the last 18 months, my Department has received data relating to children living in contingency accommodation.
