Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 3396/22-27, to outline the number of electric vehicles expected to be in use for each year.

Answer:

In developing the Transport input to the Executive’s Energy Strategy the Department for Infrastructure commissioned four research projects, one of which, Development of Electric Vehicles in Northern Ireland was produced by Steer. In its report, Steer forecasts there could be between 60,000 and 125,000 EVs in the North by 2025.
