Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail (i) the locations of the anticipated 1,400 new homes to be built by Clanmil Housing following recent investment; and (ii) the amount to be provided by her Department as part of this project.

Answer:

My Department already provides significant funding for social housing and this private financing will enable Clanmil, one of our leading providers of social housing, to build more social housing for those in most need across Northern Ireland.

Should Clanmil bring forward any additional social housing schemes, they will be assessed by NIHE and/or my Department and appropriate level of Housing Association Grant (HAG) awarded.
