To ask the Minister of Health what assessment has been made of the impact a vacancy in the ministerial office post 28 October 2022 will have on departmental (i) decision making; and (ii) spending.

Answer:

While this remains a hypothetical situation, it is clear that any period without Departmental Ministers will significantly hamper decision making and spending. Standing Order SO19 2(e) refers.
