Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in relation to the introduction of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill, which risks removing restrictions on the use of decontaminants on meat, what assessment his Department has made on the implications of this proposed legislation on food standards in Northern Ireland.

Answer:
In Northern Ireland, contaminants in food is the responsibility of the Food Standards Agency (FSA). As your enquiry relates to this area it should be directed to FSA.
