Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether a taskforce has been established for the purpose of co-ordinating a response to the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza.

Answer:

A formal taskforce to co-ordinate response to HPAI in wild birds has not been established. However, DAERA has ongoing engagement with key stakeholders in Northern Ireland and with equivalent bodies across the UK regarding impacts of this virus on wild birds.
