Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure what plans his Department has to increase the number and connectivity of cycle lanes in North Down.

Answer:

I can confirm that my Department takes active travel very seriously and recognise the benefits of increasing the number of and connectivity of cycle lanes across the north including in North Down and while there are no immediate plans for works in the North Down area, officials will, over the coming months and years, be developing proposals across all areas and in conjunction with local councils to improve the walking, cycling and wheeling network.
