To ask the Minister of Health (i) why Health Visitors cannot share information with primary and pre-schools to assist with identifying Special Educational Needs; and (ii) what work is being undertaken by his Department to allow this.

Answer:

My Department is currently considering how information sharing between health and education professionals can be improved to deliver better outcomes for children as part of our response to the “A Fair Start” report.
