Question:
To ask the Minister of Justice to detail the efforts she is making to ensure that adequate police numbers are (i) funded; (ii) retained; and (iii) enhanced.

Answer:

The current legislation, which allows me to remain as Minister, will expire on 28 October 2022 due to the continued absence of a functioning Executive. Unfortunately, my officials will be unable to provide the information sought by the Member before this date to enable me to respond to this AQW.
