Question:
To ask the Minister of Justice to detail the mechanism by which motorists from the Republic of Ireland, found to be speeding in Northern Ireland, are able to be fined or prosecuted, and vice versa.

Answer:

The current legislation, which allows me to remain as Minister, will expire on 28 October 2022 due to the continued absence of a functioning Executive. Unfortunately, my officials will be unable to provide the information sought by the Member before this date to enable me to respond to this AQW.
