Question:
To ask the Minister of Education why pre-school educational settings cannot access the C2K network.

Answer:

The Education Authority signed a contract in December 2023 with a new Strategic Partner and School Management System provider that will transform the Educational Technology provision in all schools and include, for the first time, provision for all statutory nursery schools.

This system will be rolled out under the Education Information Solutions (EdIS) programme. It should be noted that all statutory nursery teachers have received Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus devices in line with what their colleagues have received in Primary, Post Primary, Special and Education other than at school (EOTAS) centres.
