Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister for a timeline for the implementation of the draft Strategic Framework for Ending Violence Against Women and Girls.

Answer:

We are committed to bringing forward the draft Strategic Framework for Ending Violence Against Women and Girls for consideration by the Executive Committee as soon as possible. Our officials are liaising with Departmental colleagues and members of the Co-design group regarding the outcome of the public consultation, with a view to submitting the draft Strategic Framework to the Executive in coming weeks. Preparatory work to enable effective delivery is continuing, as outlined in the Foundational Action Plan, and a draft Implementation Plan (for the first two years of what is a proposed seven-year Strategy) is being developed for consideration by Ministers.
