Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister (i) for an update on work evaluating the implementation the Racial Equality Strategy 2015-2025; and (ii) to outline work to develop a new strategy beyond 2025.

Answer:

An independent review of progress on the implementation of the Racial Equality Strategy 2015-2025 was launched in August 2023.

The Independent Review Team is at the stage of preparing the final report.

Along with the report there will also be further engagement and collaboration with the wider minority ethnic sector to inform any new strategic approach beyond 2025.
